Product Description
- 2008 Ripe Pu’er in Green Mandarin was made with some of the best imperial grade ripe Pu’er material stuffed into little green mandarins, picked on seven years old mandarin trees.
- The tea leaves come from Yunnan’s Baotang Village in Menghai County, while the mandarins are from Xinhui, Guangdong.
- This tea was made with imperial grade tips from ancient tea trees (over 300 years of age).
- This tea should be brewed with the mandarin skin. You can either break it into pieces, or place it entirely into your brewing vessel. One mandarin lasts for more than 15 infusions.
- It is an artisanal tea produced with leaves picked in the spring of 2008 at an altitude over 1500 meters above sea.
- Just like Pu’er Tea, mandarin skin has the potential to age, if stored correctly.
- The warm and smooth character of the ripe Pu’er are ideally complemented by the fine citrus feeling of the mandarin.
